PARGOS ARCHITECTURE

Five modules.
One control workflow.

PARGOS is built around five core modules: Agent · Platform · Manager · RHM · Analyzer.

Agent generates access logs, Platform collects, stores and searches them, Manager and Analyzer support review and analysis, and RHM manages explanations, validation and evidence history.

Each module has a specialized role while connecting into one workflow: Generate → Collect & Store → Analyze → Explain → Review & Report.

5 CORE MODULES

Five specialized modules
behind PARGOS.

01
GENERATE

Agent

Privacy Access-log Generation

Installed in the WAS environment of a personal-information processing system, Agent generates standardized access logs for privacy data-handler activity.

  • Access time · User ID · Source IP
  • Performed actions such as SQL and queries
  • Link result values with data-subject identifiers
  • Java and diverse web application environments
02
COLLECT · STORE

Platform

Big-data Collection, Storage & Search

Securely collects access logs from agents and integration sources, then stores and searches them on a scalable big-data foundation.

  • Encrypted log transmission
  • Logical and physical distributed processing
  • Large-scale access-log storage and management
  • High-speed multi-condition search
03
GOVERN

Manager

Governance, Review & Reporting

Manager helps privacy teams review and manage Platform access logs and analysis results through an operational dashboard.

  • Bulk access and after-hours activity
  • Count, distribution and time-based statistics
  • System- and user-level anomaly dashboards
  • Review, download, anomaly and action reports
04
RESPOND

RHM

Reason History Management

For events detected as anomalous, RHM requests business reasons from the privacy handler and manages responses, validation and history.

  • Explanation requests and user responses
  • Structured reason entry
  • Administrator validation and follow-up explanation review
  • Request, response, completion status and explanation history
05
ANALYZE

Analyzer

AI Anomaly Analysis

Analyzes accumulated access logs and behavioral context to identify anomalies beyond conventional rules and statistics.

  • Behavioral context including time, IP, department and role
  • Combined rule, statistical and AI analysis
  • Pattern and trend-based anomaly detection
  • Strengthen explanation history, evidence and accountability through RHM integration

PRIVACY SECURITY TERMS

Key terms
to know.

Key concepts commonly used in PARGOS and personal-information access-log operations.

Personal Information Processing System

The ability to trace users, time, targets and actions so causes and responsibility can be investigated when an incident occurs.

Privacy Data Handler

A person who actually processes personal information under the direction and supervision of the personal-information controller, including employees and dispatched workers.

Access Log

A record that makes it possible to identify the work performed when a privacy data handler accesses a personal-information processing system.

Data Subject

An individual who is identifiable from the processed information and to whom that information relates.

Performed Action

A work action performed in a personal-information processing system, such as viewing, registering, modifying, deleting or downloading personal information.

Anomalous Behavior

Personal-information processing behavior identified through rules, statistics or AI as differing from normal work patterns or requiring additional review.

Explanation

A process in which a privacy data handler submits a business reason and supporting basis for an anomalous or review-target event and an administrator validates it.

Accountability

The ability to trace causes and responsibility through records of users, time, targets and performed work related to personal-information processing.

Terminology Notice

The legacy website referenced older KISA materials. This redesign focuses on general product concepts rather than reproducing outdated legal wording. Legal definitions and compliance requirements should be verified against the current Personal Information Protection Act and applicable regulations before publication.
